Chris has been employed at the firm since 2004.  He graduated from Austin High School in 1989 and earned an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science from Mid-America College of Mortuary Science.  He was formerly employed as a Funeral Director and Embalmer at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Vine Grove, Kentucky and Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. He is currently a licensed Indiana and Kentucky.. 

In 1994, he married Sherry Wright and together they have two children, Kaley and Ethan Fugate.  He serves the Austin community as a City Councilman and numerous city appointed boards.
