Alice Faye Couch, 70 of Hazard, Kentucky, formerly of Scott County, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Hazard Regional Hospital. She was born on May 26, 1950 in Busy, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Elijah Fields, Sr. and Georgie Marie (Miles) Fields. Alice was a homemaker, a member of the Pentecostal Faith and enjoyed doing needle point when she was younger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Couch; two brothers, Eugene and Virgil Fields and a sister, Carol Colwell. Survivors include three sons, Wesley Williams of Texas, Jeff and David Couch both of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Elijah Fields, Jr. of Austin, Indiana and Carlos Fields of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Phyllis Baker of Busy, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dawn Couch and Alexander Larry Couch and one great granddaughter, Alayna. Cremation services were requested and a Celebration of Alice's Life will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed. Please follow the CDC's recommendations and guidelines while attending the services and face masks will be required due to the governor's executive mandate.
