Anthony R. "Tony" Kiesler, 66, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Scott Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 31, 1955 in New Albany, Indiana, the son of the late Francis G. Kiesler and Martha (Hanka) Kiesler. Tony graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1973 and retired from the maintenance department at GKN Sinter Metals in Salem, Indiana. He was a member of the Church of the American Martyrs in Scottsburg, Indiana and the Knights of Columbus Council # 8052. Tony enjoyed working on things and helping others and loved spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Shelia (Begley) Kiesler; one brother, Kenneth J. (Linda) Kiesler of Scottsburg, Indiana; three sisters, Patricia A. Renn of Henryville, Indiana, Janet F. (Jay) Arbuckle and Teresa S. Wheat all of Scottsburg, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at American Martyrs Catholic Church with Rev. Santhosh Yohannan officiating. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation and services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed and will be limited to 50 people in the building. Please follow the CDC's recommendations and guidelines while attending the services and face masks will be required due to the governor's executive mandate. Interment will be in Scottsburg Cemetery.
