Barbara Ann Barnard, 78, of Columbus, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Our Hospice in Columbus, Indiana. She was born on March 13, 1944 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Arthur P. and Gertrude (Parrott) Batman. Barbara was a member of Mt. Eden Christian Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Estill Barnard; daughter, Pamela Barnard; sister, Brenda Rider; and brother, Arthur Batman. Survivors include her two daughters, Paula (Steve) George of Columbus, Indiana and Penny (Shawn) Hasten of Ft. Myers, Florida; her son, Dennis (Patricia) Barnard of Little York, Indiana; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Collins Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Collins Funeral Home.
