Bonnie L. Koontz, 65, of Lexington, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison, Indiana. She was born on March 24, 1956 in Kentucky, the daughter of the late Elmer Thomas Eaves and Mary (Hearne ) Eaves. On October 22, 1994 she married Danny S. Koontz, who passed away on March 12, 2007. She was a member of Lexington Christian Church. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, riding her four-wheeler, and oil painting. She was also an animal lover and had many different kinds of animals through out her life. Bonnie was considered a friend to so many. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her daughter, Candy Moore; stepson, Jeremy Koontz; sister, Kathleen Marshall; two brothers, Tom Eaves and David Hearne; and dog, Copper. Survivors include her son, Steven Moore of Lexington, Indiana; stepdaughter, Stephanie Koontz of Madison, Indiana; two brothers, Dale (Jennifer) Eaves and Jerry (Deana) Wicker both of Austin, Indiana; brother-in-law, Larry Marshall of Lexington, Indiana; grandchildren, Nathan Lucas, Christopher, Shyann; great grandchild, Axel; and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be Private with interment at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison, Indiana. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date for all friends and family to attend.
