Dawn Maria Ellsworth, 59 of Scottsburg, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 at her home. She was born on July 24, 1964 in Marrero, Louisiana to the late Kenneth Flauding and Rosemary (Perkins) Flauding. Dawn was a former paramedic working in Clark County, Indiana. She enjoyed fishing but most of all loved spending time with all her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her son, Samuel Vincent as well as her parents. Dawn is survived by her loving partner and companion Melvin Sowders of Whitesville, Kentucky; her children; Bobby Vincent (Tangella Hamilton) of Scottsburg, Indiana; Megan Vincent (Steven Pierce) of Henderson, Kentucky; Harrison Vincent of New Albany, Indiana; Tressa Vincent (Todd Smith) of Argos, Indiana; brother Michael Flauding; sister Susan Reisert and thirteen grandchildren. She was a light unto this world, and will never be forgotten. Cremation services have been entrusted to the caring staff at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
