Flossie Dant Borders, 105, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Lake Pointe Village. She was born on October 27, 1915 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of the late Henry Dant and Vlaga (Frieneck) Dant. Flossie was the co-owner of the old Border's Greenhouse near Scottsburg, Indiana and a member of the Alpha Baptist Church near Deputy, Indiana. She loved her family and many friends, always enjoyed visiting with people and playing Bingo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Borders; two daughters, Patsy and Edith "Edie" Borders and several siblings. Survivors include three sons, Kash Lafferty of Scottsburg, Indiana, Tim Borders of Austin, Indiana and Paul Lafferty of Brazil, Indiana; a daughter, Daisy Caddell of Westport, Indiana, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic graveside services will be private at Spurgeon Cemetery with Matt Craig officiating.
