Hilda Crawford, 76, of Ely, Minnesota, previously of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Boundry Waters Care Center in Ely, Minnesota. She was born on April 27, 1946, in Preasall, Texas, the daughter of the late Inez Equia and Mariann (Garcia) Equia. She married Fred Crawford, who passed away on April 2, 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Crawford; a son, Manuel Equia, and grandson, Christopher Gregory. Survivors include two daughters, Valerie Boyk and Beverly Gregory both of Ely, Minnesota, one step-daughter, Diane Hall of Scottsburg, Indiana; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
