Jonas N. Schlabach, 79 years 4 months and 22

days, of Lexington, IN passed away peacefully on

August 12, 2024.

He was born in Plain City, Oh on March 21,1945 to

the late Noah and Lydiann (Miller) Schlabach.

On June 15, 1967, he was married to Irene Miller,

who proceeded him in death on Feb 29, 2024.

Left to cherish his memory are children: Lavern and

wife Evelyn of Richmond, MO, Rebecca and

husband Joseph Hostetler of Belleville, PA, Edward

(deceased), Glen of the home, Steven and wife

Debra of Melvern, KS, Loretta and husband Leon

King of Lexington, IN, Robert and wife Dorcas-

(deceased)of Holliday, MO, Mark and wife Kimberly

of Paris, MO.

He will also be missed by his 19 grandchildren and

6 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are 4 brothers and 2 sisters: Roy

Schlabach of Shreve, OH. Henry and wife Sara Etta

of Plain City, OH, Freeman and wife Catherine of

Plain City, OH, Noah Jr and wife Darla of Plain City,

OH, Mary of Millersburg, OH, Esther and husband

Louie Swartz of Auburn, KY. And sister-in-law

Martha Schlabach of Apple Creek, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife

Irene, a son Edward, daughter in law Dorcas, sister

Ada, brother John, sister & brother-in-law Verna and

Eli Chupp.
