Kevin Dale Bowling, 55, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away peacefully at his home on December 1st, 2022. Kevin was born on January 21, 1967 to his parents Phyllis (Vickey) Hedge and Marvin Bowling in Anderson, Indiana. Kevin attended Anderson High School and Bell County High School. He studied diesel mechanics and earned his diesel mechanic certification. Kevin was a well-known mechanic around local short tracks. Kevin enjoyed many wins and championships with family and friends in many divisions, Racing semis, street stocks, modifieds, super trucks, and late models. Kevin also enjoyed time working for a Nascar truck team. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Bowling; step father, James Hedge; and infant son. He is survived by his children Korey Bowling (Cheyenne) and Carmen Norfleet; mother, Phyllis Hedge; sister, Laura Stewart; two grandchildren, Charlotte and Kristopher; step siblings, Cinda (Bill) Dunn, Mike (Dan) Hedge, and Randy Clendenin; his niece, Sara (Garrick); and great nephews. A celebration of life will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Community Building in Shirley, Indiana. Friends and Family may attend from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
