Larry Kiefer, 79, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Kentucky. He was born on September 8, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of the late Raymond E. Kiefer and Rosetta Amelia (Grove) Kiefer. He worked for many years in the construction business. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his son, Tommy Gene Kiefer; grandson, Isiah Kiefer; great grandson, Lucas Mull; three brothers, Raymond, Robert, and Billy Kiefer; and three sisters, Mickey Abbott, Dale Barbara Kiefer, and Nancy Hehemann. Survivors include his wife of fifty-eight years Peggy (Fletcher) Kiefer; daughter, Sharon Mull of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sons, David (Lucinda) Kiefer and Jesse (Rosemary) Kiefer both of Scottsburg, Indiana; three brothers, John and Mike Kiefer both of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Stanley Kiefer of Florida; five sisters, Mary Etta Simmons of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Thelma Hague of Louisville, Kentucky, Darlene Hogan of Fort Smith Arkansas, Mildred Richey of Underwood, Indiana, and Gale Robbins of Scottsburg, Indiana; five grandchildren, Andrew Mull, Symphony and Destiny Kiefer, Ashley Kiefer, and Andrea Bowers; and two great grandchildren, Logan Ervin Mull and Conner Mull. Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Monday, January 3, 2022, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday at Collins Funeral Home.
