Naomi Kay Couch, 79, of Lexington, Indiana passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on August 19, 1942 in Jackson County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Jeff Ross and Mary (Sweet) Ross. She retired as mail clerk for Lear Siegler in Seymour, Indiana in 1984. On November 27,1984 she married Coady Couch, who passed away on May 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Morris R. Smith, father of her children; husband, Coady; daughter, Debra Kriete; brother, Kenneth Ross; sister, Betty Meadows; and two grandsons, Carmen and Mitchell Smith. Survivors include her two daughters, Kathy (Terry) Hall of Columbus, Indiana, and Carol Norris of Lexington, Indiana; and one son Lanny (Katherine) Smith of Seymour, Indiana; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, March 30,2022 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with minister David Colbert officiating. Family and friends may visit from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday and after 11:00 am until time of service Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home.
