Teresa Ann Abner, 66, of Scottsburg, Indiana went home to be with her savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at her residence. She was born on August 17, 1957, in Wytheville, Virginia, the daughter of the late Kenneth Gravley and Shirley (Rose) Gravley. She was a member of Austin House of Prayer. Teresa loved worshiping the lord and serving him daily. She was an employee of Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana. Teresa enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and I Love Lucy, cross stitching, coloring, going fishing and collecting angel figurines. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dana Abner; parents; and brother, Kenneth Jr. Gravley. Survivors include two sons, Danny (Jasmine Dorsey) Abner of Austin, Indiana, James (Misty) Abner of Scottsburg, Indiana; daughter, Kendra (Justin Flora) Abner of Georgetown, Kentucky; and three sisters, Brenda Rhoat of Florida, Karen Thomas of Florida and Alice Crump of Florida. Teresa is also survived by nine grandchildren, Tyler Grapevine, Alysha Wells, Kaitlyn Abner, Arya Flora, Matthew Hensley, Paige Beswick, Nathan Abner, Clementine Abner, and Lydia Abner; one great grandson, Bohdie Russell.
