Alisa Marie (Rogers) Morgan, 49, of Underwood, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Alisa was born on September 21, 1971 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Bruce and Vera (Rigsby) Rogers. She was a Scottsburg High School graduate and was a member of the 1989 Scottsburg Warriorettes State Championship Basketball Team. After high school, Alisa earned a Master's Degree in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. She was a kindergarten teacher for Scott County School District #2 in Scottsburg, Indiana, where she worked for 27 years. Alisa loved teaching her students, and they loved having her as a teacher. On June 30, 1995, she married Delmar Morgan, who survives. Alisa was a member of Vienna Baptist Church. She loved her two boys and enjoyed spending time and creating memories with them. Alisa was preceded in death by her mother and father-in -law, Elson and Dortha Morgan and two brothers-in-law, Joseph Feltes and Larry Morgan. Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Delmar Morgan; two sons, Hunter and Ethan Morgan both of Underwood, Indiana; her parents, Bruce and Vera Rogers of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Alanna Feltes of Scottsburg, Indiana; three sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Morgan, Linda Morgan and Evelyn Howard; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Morgan; a nephew and niece, Brandt and Jadyn Feltes. Funeral Service: 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Reverend Matthew Rigsby officiating. Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday and after 9:00 am Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sodom Cemetery in Underwood, Indiana.
