Ana Rosa Brittain, 77, of Underwood, Indiana passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at her residence. She was born on August 26, 1944 in Cayey, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Rosalina Ortiz-Santiago. She was an accountant and did bookkeeping in Puerto Rico, Chicago, and New York. She loved to watch movies, MSNBC, crime shows, and ghost stories. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Ortiz Jr.. Survivors include her daughter, Ana (Adam) Filburn of Underwood, Indiana; four brothers, Antonio Arriaga of Chicago, IL, Raphael Ortiz of Puerto Rico, Luis Ortiz of Chicago, IL, and Harry Ortiz of Puerto Rico; three sisters, Carmen Santiago of Puerto Rico, Enerida Aviles of Chicago, IL, Mercedes Carmen- Arriaga; best friend, Linda De Jesus of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren, Jason Kenneth Powers and Sasha Nichole Powers; and four great grandchildren, Gabriel Bottorff, Gavin Bottorff, Kai Powers, and September Powers. Cremation was entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
