Annette Stout, 87, of Deputy, Indiana passed away on April 18, 2026, at home with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 2, 1938 in Closplint, Kentucky, to Herbert Rutherford and Fannie (Goodin) Rutherford. Annette graduated from Deputy High School in Deputy, Indiana in 1956. On November 10, 1962 Annette married the love of her life, Carl Stout, and he survives. She dedicated her professional life to the financial industry, retiring from the old Production Credit, where her commitment and wit made a lasting impact. Annette also spent many years working at Morgan Foods. A woman of many passions, Annette found joy in cooking and baking, sharing delicious meals with family and friends. She took great pride in her flower gardens, nurturing them with love and care, which reflected her vibrant spirit. Above all, her unwavering faith and love for family were the cornerstones of her life and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Annette was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Jimmie Rutherford, Sr. In addition to her husband of sixty-three years, Carl, Annette is survived by two daughters, Tamala (Larry) Johnson and Sherry Stout; two brothers, Harold (Rachel) Rutherford and Jerry (Alana) Rutherford; five grandchildren, Landon (Kelsey) Gray, Logan Gray, Jordan Sebastian, Sarah Sebastian, and Hannah Sebastian; four great grandchildren; Laney Gray, Vyla Gray, Emilio Roman, and Greyson Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 3:00pm at Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery in Deputy, Indiana. Burial will follow the graveside service. Memorial donations can be made in Annette's name to Alpha Baptist Women's or donor's favorite charity in c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
