Arya Dawn Shapinsky-Bixler, 11 months, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on June 27, 2020 in New Albany, Indiana,  the daughter of Brian Bixler and Ashleigh Shapinsky.  Arya had a Christening service held on May 23, 2021 surrounded by her family.  She was preceded in death by her aunt, Andrea Shapinsky. In addition to her parents, she was survived by her brother, Dylan Bixler of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sisters,  Paizleigh Shapinsky and Avereigh Ortega both of Scottsburg, Indiana; grandparents, Debbie and Robert Bixler,  Mark Shapinsky, and Gene Ann Shawler all of Scottsburg, Indiana; an aunt, Shelly (Eric) Gillespie of Scottsburg, Indiana; and cousin, Liam Blackwell of Scottsburg, Indiana.    Graveside Service: 1:00 pm on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Scottsburg Cemetery  with Shepherd Bill Talbott officiating.  Online condolences:www.collinsfuneralhome.net.
