Barbara Rose Howard, 78, of Seymour, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at her residence. She was born on May 8, 1943 in Otisco, Indiana, the daughter of the late Leslie and Ruth (Williams) Robinson. Barbara attended Vienna Grade School growing up then attended Scottsburg High School. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Barbara also loved her animals, Mickey, Muffin, and Momma Cat. She was preceded in death by her parents first husband, Paul Carver; second husband, Leon Howard; companion of thirty years, Carl Turner; son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Melinda Carver; sister, Kathy Cass; and brother-in-law, Jim Zollman. Survivors include son, Darryl (Shelia ) Carver of Brooksville, Flordia; daughter, Donna Carver of Seymour, Indiana; three brothers, James "Jimmy" (Gale) Robinson of Vienna, Indiana, Ed (Dixie) Robinson of Scottsburg, Indiana, Ronnie Robinson of Vienna, Indiana; three sisters, Judy Zollman of Charlestown, Indiana, Lana (Shorty) Barger of Scottsburg, Indiana, Linda Robinson of Vienna, Indiana; brother-in-law, Jim Cass; grandchildren, Amanda (Charles) Meredith, Kristen (Tony Bannister) Miller, Brittnay Robbins, Christopher Carver, Nathan Spicer, Justin Spicer, Kay Napier, Natosha Napier, Chassidy Napier, Heather Richey, Shawna Stacy, Andrew (Ruby) Carver, Cameron Caver, and Chase Mays; and many great grandchildren. Funeral Service: 12:00 Noon Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with John Lowry officiating. Visitation: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Collins Funeral Home. Interment at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
