Beatrice Rainbolt Dean, 98 of Scottsburg, formerly of Corydon and Charlestown, Indiana. passed away March 6, 2025. She was born in Corydon to the late Maurice and Etna Barley Rainbolt on November 30, 1926. She graduated from Corydon High School, class of 1944. She married in Corydon and had five sons. She moved to Charlestown in 1957, where she made her home for the next 40 years. She was a clerk at the Tobias (B&T) Drug store. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Marjorie Holt and Wilma Rainbolt; and her brothers, Edmond and Robert Rainbolt. Surviving to cherish her memories are her sons, Robin (Sandy) Dean of Pendleton, KY, Terry Dean of Scottsburg, Alan Dean of Indianapolis, Tim (Martha) Dean of Florida, and Ricky (Melissa) Dean of Indianapolis; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty two great-grandchildren. She passed away at Hampton Oaks Health Campus under the care of the very precious and loving staff. Cremation Services entrusted to Collins Funeral Home of Scottsburg, Indiana.
