Betty J. Gasser, 82, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on March 11, 2023, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on July 30, 1940 in Danville, Kentucky, to the late Garnet Hendren and Edith (Gabbard) Hendren. She was a member of Mt. Eden Christian Church. On March 5, 1979 she married Erich Joe Gasser, who preceded her in death in 2015. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lorraine Reynolds. She is survived by her son, Timothy R. Eldridge of Scottsburg, Indiana; three brothers, William Hendren of Crothersville, Indiana, Sam Hendren of Crothersville, Indiana, and Tom Hendren of Healdsburg, California. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday March 15, 2023 at Mt. Eden Christian Church with Bro. Bruce Stephenson officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Eden Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana. Memorial Contributions to be given to Mt.
