Betty Margret Hutton, 72 of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023 at her home. She was born on July 3, 1951 in Scottsburg, Indiana, to the late Bill Roberts and Ethel (Clem) Roberts. She was an employee of the old Holm Industries in Scottsburg, Indiana. On January 31, 1966 she married Jim Hutton in Booneville Kentucky, and he preceded her in death in 2017. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Richard Hutton; three sisters, June Riley, Evelyn Vernon, and Rena Johnson; and brother-in-law, Mike Durham. Survivors include her two daughters, Emma (James) Carey of Scottsburg, Indiana and Cella Hutton of Scottsburg, Indiana; four sons, Jimmy Hutton of Scottsburg, Indiana, Bill (Angela) Hutton of Connersville, Indiana;, Gary Hutton of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Tom (Donna) Roberts of Scottsburg, Indiana; three brothers, TC Earnest (Betty) Roberts of Austin, Indiana, Malcom Roberts of Austin, Indiana, and James (Ann) Roberts of Austin, Indiana; two sisters, Rosie Durham of Austin, Indiana and Billie Turner of Scottsburg, Indiana; six grandchildren, Sarah Hutton, Aarika Hutton, Sam Hutton, Jackson Hutton, Stephen (Samantha) Carey, and Caitlyn Carey; and two great grandchildren Jaylee Carey and Rachael Carey. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday December 2, 2023 at Collins Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday at Collins Funeral Home.
