Beverly "Bev" Green, 73, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on August 27, 1949 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Paul Breedlove and Doris (Donahue) Breedlove. Bev was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana. On June 26,1971 she married Horace Irvin Green, who passed away June 21, 2017. Bev was a homemaker that devoted her life to her children and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Horace. Survivors include her daughter, Paula (Marty) Everhart of Austin, Indiana; two sons, Jeff (Bobbie ) Green of Vallonia, Indiana and Greg (Katie) Green of Scottsburg, Indiana; sister, Linda (Richard) Collins of Scottsburg, Indiana; and five grandchildren, Cayla Everhart, Connor Everhart, Justin Green, Alyssa Green and Malia Green. Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Friday, March 17, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Matthew Craig officiating. Visitation: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday prior to the service.
