Bill Masters, 73 of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. Bill was born on May 12, 1948 to the late Joseph M. and Letha (Conley) Masters. Bill was an electrician by trade, but enjoyed building and tinkering in his garage. He was in the Army and was a Purple Heart recipient. Bill was the type of person who did not care for birthday gifts as much as sitting around the table eating Pizza King with his family. He was known for his kind and gentle heart, his over abundance of patience, and his love for a good joke. If you knew Bill, you knew he loved fishing, hunting, his Kentucky Wildcats, his dog (Rose), but most importantly his wife, Sandy Masters, his children, Angie Masters-Burns, Joe Masters, and his grandchildren, Joryn Burns, and Catie Jo Masters. Bill is preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Frankie, Wayne, and Danny Masters. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years; two children; two grandchildren; two brothers, George (Paula), and Kenny (MaryAnn) Masters; and three sisters, Sue (Daniel) Carnine, Barbara Hooker and Judy Troxell; along with many friends he considered family. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am-1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 with a service starting at 1:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home, 465 W.
