Bobbie Jean Gilbertson, 63, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on August 19, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on August 11, 1961, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Junior Franklin Hunter and Doshie (Gray) Hunter. Bobbie graduated from Scottsburg Senior High School in 1979. She worked at the Scottsburg Walmart for over seventeen years in the bakery. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jackie Hunter and Charles Gray; three sisters, Shirley Spicer, Barbara Shepherd, and Mary Gates. Bobbie is survived by Amber (Shane) Dunn of Deputy, Indiana; three grandchildren, Marley, Hadley, and Harper; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 7:00pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation will be prior to the service Friday from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home following the service.
