Bobbie Lou Jones, 73, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus, Indiana. She was born on August 19, 1947 in Manchester, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Robert Hammons and Georgia Pearl (Hubbard) Hammons. On December 12, 1968, she married Shirley Jones who passed away December 24, 2008. She was a member of Green Street Chapel and the WestWood Golf Course in Scottsburg, Indiana. Bobbie was a very involved wife, mother, and grandmother. When her children were growing up, she was active in Scott County 4-H, Junior Leaders, FCA, and all their sporting events. Bobbie also enjoyed gardening and pulling weeds and was well known in the family for her mole hunting abilities. She loved all of her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Rick Hammons. Survivors include a daughter, Missy (Tom) Grasch of Henryville, Indiana; two sons, Robert (Kelly) Jones of Borden, Indiana and Franklin (Crystal) Jones of Crothersville, Indiana; five sisters Susie and Polly Hammons, Sandy Burger, Shonda Webb, Diana Holmes and five grandchildren, Ethan Weaver, Carson and Addison Jones, and Christian and Ayden Jones. Funeral Service: 11:00 am on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Pastor Mike Shuler and Donnie Jones officiating.
