Bonnie Cooper, 84, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, Indiana, beloved homemaker and devoted family woman. She was born on May 12, 1940, in Booneville, Kentucky, to the late Ned and Anna Belle (Barker) Roberts. On January 23, 1960 Bonnie married the love of her life, William Coy Cooper who passed away on January 30, 2015. Bonnie will be remembered for her warm and compassionate nature, always putting her family first. She cherished spending time with her loved ones, especially engaging in activities her husband enjoyed, such as fishing and camping. Her passion for sewing, gardening, yard sales, and collecting antiques brought joy to those around her. In addition to her parents and late husband, William, Bonnie was preceded in death by one grandson, Zendall Wayne Cooper, Jr.; one great grandson, Raiden Eversole; one brother, James Roberts; and four sisters,Oma, Leona, Cleona, Bertha Roberts. She is survived by her children Patricia (Michael Haller) Tiemeyer of Austin, Indiana, Zendall Wayne (Donna) Cooper of Belding, Michigan, and Sharon Gabbard of Scottsburg, Indiana; brother, Willard Roberts of LeRose, Kentucky; two sisters, Frances Roberts of Booneville, Kentucky and Carolyn Roberts of Zoe, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Andy, Chris, Kaitey, Brandy, William, Joseph, and Brittany; and ten great grandchildren. Funeral Service at Collins Funeral Home on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Johnny Bowling officiating.
