Brenda Justice

Brenda Justice, 75, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on April 18, 2026, at home. She was born on October 28, 1950, in Scottsburg, Indiana, to the late Bradford Davisson and Sidney (Colbert) Medermit. Brenda dedicated her life to serving others, first as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 24 years, and later as an employee of the U.S. Census Bureau until her retirement. A proud member of the Scott County Moose Lodge #2324 Women's Auxiliary, Scottsburg American Legion #234, and Scott County VFW #6582, Brenda was deeply invested in her community and the welfare of those around her. Brenda loved nothing more than her winters spent in Florida with her brother, Michael. In addition to her parents Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Justice; one son, Michael Sandlin. Brenda is survived by her two sons, Johnny Sandlin and Brady Sandlin, one brother, Michael Davisson; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
