Brenda Joyce Knapp, 82, passed away on January 9, 2025, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. She was born in Belleville, Illinois on June 6, 1942, to Earl Harry and Eugenia Marie Godair Lungwitz. She married Daniel L. Knapp on June 10, 1983, and preceded her in death on January 2, 2010. She worked as a Door Greeter at Walmart in Scottsburg and she enjoyed crocheting and canning food. Her faith was strong. Surviving to cherish Brenda's memory are her sons, Alex Knapp, Ervin Hawkins and Ronnie Hawkins as well as her brother, Bruce Lungwitz and sister Shirley Wilson and several grandchildren. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Daniel, her daughter, Lori Dodge, and her brother, Earl Lungwitz. A private family service will be held.
