Brenda (Richardson) Hyde, 67, of Lexington, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on June 4, 1954, in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late James Richardson and Doris (Harmon) Richardson. Brenda was a retired homemaker who loved her family and grandchildren. She loved to spend time outdoors, mowing the grass, reading books, and going for walks. She never met a stranger and was loved by many. Brenda was a member of Blocher United Methodist Church in Blocher, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter Megan. Survivors include her husband, Dan Hyde of Blocher, Indiana; one daughter, Candy (Kevin) Noel of Blocher, Indiana; two sons, Jamie (Stephanie) Hyde of North Vernon, Indiana and Brad (Jessica) Hyde of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sisters, Linda (Dennis) Cavendish and Susan (Phil) McCamish; one brother: Danny Richardson. and her dog, Peaches; grandchildren, Dylan, Adam, Cameron, Lily and Kody; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 1:00 pm January 29, 2022 at Collins Funeral Home with Bill Hatton officiating. Visitation: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
