Caroline M. Hahn-Swift, 77, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on September 20, 1944, in Millersburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Albert and Anna "Bea" Beatrice Luttrull. She worked as a hairdresser for over twenty years. Caroline stayed very active through the years not only raising her own five children, but also having over one hundred and twenty foster children in her care. She also worked for the family business keeping books for Hahn Auction Service and Real-estate. There was even a period in time when she drove a semi. She was a member of the New Life Assembly of God in Scottsburg, Indiana. Caroline married George Albert Hahn, who passed away on August 20, 1993; then on March 5, 1995, she married Leroy Swift, who passed away December 5, 2016. In addition to her parents, Caroline is preceded in death by her two husbands George Albert Hahn and Leroy Swift, Jr.; daughter, Kathleen Heneisen; son, Marvin Hahn; and brother, Joe Luttrull. Survivors include her son, Walter (Meghan) Hahn of Scottsburg, Indiana; three daughters, Yelonda (Marvin) Heneisen of Evansville, Indiana, Caroline Hahn of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Melissa (Bradley) Wessel of Brownstown, Indiana; stepson, David Swift; stepdaughter, Evelyn Swift; nineteen grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren. Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Rev. Mike Becht officiating.
