Carolyn Sue Clegg, 74, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was born on December 14, 1946 in Scott County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Lionel Whitehead and Mary (Owen) Whitehead. Carolyn worked as a hairdresser in Scott County for many years and was currently at Missy and Company in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was a member of Scottsburg United Methodist Church in Scottsburg, Indiana. Carolyn was a known shopaholic that also enjoyed reading, going out to eat, and IU basketball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Carl Edward "Junior" Clegg and her sister, Rosemary Stewart. Her survivors include a daughter, Cammie (Dewayne) Cravens of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Lowell (Kathy Jo) Whitehead and Pete (Tina) Whitehead; two sisters, Kaylene (Fred) Mace and Kathy Kirchner; a granddaughter, Tiffany (Andrew) Thomas of Bedford, Indiana; two grandsons, Cody (Tasha) Cravens of Lexington, Indiana and Chase (Ciara) Cravens of Marion, New York; and eight great-grandchildren, Carson, Abigail, Aiden, Aaron, Paylyn, Ciarabelle, Jessie Cravens and Oliver Thomas. Funeral Service: 11:00 am Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home with Shepherd Bill Talbott officiating. Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Friday, August 13, 2021 and after 9 am Saturday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Interment will be in Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
