Obituary

Caryl A. Dismore, 55, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Scott Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 5, 1964 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Robert C. Dismore and Anne B. (Back) Dismore. Caryl graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1983, also attended Ivy Tech and was a member of the Scottsburg First Baptist Church. She had worked in patient registration for both the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana and Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, her neighbors at Craig Park and loved time spent with her family. Caryl loved chocolate milkshakes and frappuccinos and was a huge football fan, especially the Green Bay Packers. Every Sunday, she listened to her church's services on the radio and loved learning and growing in her faith in the Lord. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Eunice Dismore of Uniontown, Indiana; a half sister, Ann Alexander (Jimmy) of Inverness, Florida and several cousins. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Collins Funeral Home. Memorial services may also be viewed on Collins Funeral Home's Facebook page at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 15, 2020. Visitation: 12 to 1 pm on Saturday. Visitation and memorial services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed. Please follow the CDC's recommendations and guidelines while attending the services and face masks will be required due to the governor's executive order. Interment will be in Scottsburg Cemetery.
