Cassie (Napier) Rogers

Cassie (Napier) Rogers died on May 31, 2026 at the age of 89. She was born on March 21, 1937 in Perry County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Owens Napier and Mary (Finley) Napier.In addition to her parents Cassie was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Tommy L. Rogers; son, Richard L. Rogers; three brothers, Rufus Napier, Landrum Napier, and Owens "Butch" Napier; two sisters, Delia Napier and Francis Napier; and one granddaughter, Angela Rogers. She is survived by two children , Debra L. Rogers, and David L. (Rhonda) Rogers; two granddaughters, Christina L. Dalton and Jaime N. Schenk; one grandson, Steven Rogers; great grandson, Aden W. Montgomery; two great granddaughters, Leah Montgomery and Kaylee Montgomery; one brother, Lawrence Sizemore; and three sisters, Bobbie Jean Napier, Diane Napier, and Pricilla Helton. Cassie was formerly employed at the army ammunition plant at Charlestown, Indiana and retired from Rogers Liquor Store where she was Co-owner of Scottsburg and Crothersville stores, with her late husband, Tommy. Cassie was a member of the Ladies of the Moose 1947, Life Member Ladies auxiliary to the V.F.W 1083. Former member of Lamba Chi Omega Sorority. She attended Safe Harbor Christian Church at Memphis, Indiana. Funeral will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 6:00pm at Collins Funeral Home. Visitation will be observed from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Burial will follow at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
