Cherrlylene A. "Cheri" Tutterrow, 74, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on December 16, 1946 in Contra Costa, California. After graduating from high school, Cheri graduated from Beauty Salon School and became a licensed beautician. She was a former owner of old Cheri's Beauty Care for 10 years and a bartender at Sugar Daddy's in Indianapolis, Indiana before moving to Scott County. Cheri worked a beautician for many years at Scissor Talk Beauty Salon which is now the Talk and Shop and Friends in Scottsburg, Indiana and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church near Lexington, Indiana. She was an avid bowler and member of several bowling leagues at Scottsburg Lanes. Cheri was a former bowling coach for the Scottsburg High School Bowling Team, helped coordinate the youth bowling leagues and also taught bowling. She was an agility dog coach for Scott County 4-H and a German Shepherd dog breeder for 10 years. Cheri loved to ride horses and taught her grandchildren how to as well. She was preceded in death by her mother, Delores Vanhoose and a brother, Tom Hurt. Survivors include her husband, Jim Tutterrow; a son, Timothy D. Tutterrow (Jenny) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; a sister, Joyce Graziola (Dick) of North Carolina; a brother, Wayne Hurt (Julia) of Louisville, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Amanda Donohue (Shannon) and Autumn Tutterrow; two great grandsons, Isaac and Jordan Donohue; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 11:00 am on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Romero officiating. Funeral services may be viewed by the public on Collins Funeral Home's Facebook page at 11:00 am on Monday. Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday and after 9:00 am on Monday at Collins Funeral Home. Visitation and services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed and will be limited to 25 people in the building. Please follow the CDC's recommendations and guidelines while attending the services and face masks will be required due to the governor's executive mandate.
