Obituary

Christopher N. Briner, 59, of Henryville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2022 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on August 5, 1963 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Everett and Sheila Winifred (McClain) Briner. On October 17, 2017 he married Susan (Mullins) Briner, who survives. Christopher was a sports fanatic especially IU basketball, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Susan (Mullins) Briner; daughter, Marissa A. Briner; sister, Roslynn Lorraine (Carl) Harding; stepbrother, Dennis (Phyllis) Beswick; stepsister, Brenda (Dennis) Yount; stepbrother, Robert (Bruce) Beswick; stepbrother, Steve (Debbie) Beswick; stepsister, Karen (Rusty) Frankenberger; two aunts, Dolores Jewell and Shelley (Hall) James;and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Saturday, December 17, 2022 and after 11 am on Sunday at Collins Funeral Home until service.Interment at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
