Clarence Michael "Mike" West, 77, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Harrison Healthcare Center in Corydon, Indiana. He was born on August 19, 1945, in Scottsburg, Indiana, son of the late John Thomas West and Ethel May (Campbell) West. Mike was a self-employed welder who enjoyed building Hot Rods and refurbished old vehicles. He married Betty J. (Fields) West, who passed away on August 5, 2014. In addition to his wife, Betty, Mike is preceded in death by his parents; son, Tommy West; and sister, Becky West. Survivors include his son, Huey Campbell; daughter, Lisa Robbins; three grandchildren, Kassie Campbell, Laykin Robbins, and Dustin Robbins. Mike chose to have his body donated to science.
