Clarence Williams Sr., 78 of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away Friday, June 23, 2023 at Lake Pointe Village of Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born in Perry County, Kentucky on March 10, 1945 to the late Bill Williams and Jessie Mae (Collins) Williams of Hazard, Kentucky. Clarence married Rhoda Mae White in Hazard, Kentucky in March of 1970 and she preceded him in death. He was a lifelong truck driver, from being OTR to working for Bagshaw Trucking Company in Memphis, Indiana a few years before retiring. Clarence in his lifetime loved to play basketball, and watch his favorite team Kentucky Wildcats, traveling to new places, fishing and camping, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and one sister, Tina Eversole of Hazard, Kentucky. Clarence is survived by his three sons, Alonzo (Sandra) Williams of Scottsburg, Indiana, Clarence Williams Jr. of Brownstown, Indiana, and Johnny Williams of Scottsburg, Indiana; and one brother, John Williams of Krypton, Kentucky; two sisters, Verniece (Sis) Hall of Georgetown, Kentucky and Joyce (Everett) Duff of Vanceburg, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Chasity (Charles) Jones of Austin, Indiana, Cody Williams of Scottsburg, Indiana, Brittany (James) Stacy of Scottsburg, Indiana, Tyler (Ciara) Williams of Brownstown, Indiana, Joshua (Charity) Williams of Scottsburg, Indiana, Tyson Williams, Jesse Williams, and Audrey Williams all of Austin, Indiana; eleven great grandchildren, Keelea, McKinley, Carter Alonzo, Casandra, Maci, Kashton, Hailey, Georgia, Karter, Korbin, and Link. Cremation services have been entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.  A Celebration of Life will be held on July 29, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Austin Masonic Lodge in Austin, Indiana.
