Clarissa L. McCall, 63, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on July 19, 1960 in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Larry Collier and Jan (Runner) Collier, who survives. Clarissa graduated high school and then attended Ivy Tech in Madison, Indiana earning an Associate's Degree in Nursing. She was a former Licensed Practical Nurse and had worked at numerous nursing homes in the surrounding counties. Clarissa enjoyed reading, embroidering and sewing. She loved unicorns, horses and dogs. Clarissa collected unicorn figurines. On February 17,1979, she married Ron K. "Spider" McCall, who passed away on March 12, 1998. In addition to her husband, Clarissa was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother, Jan Collier of Scottsburg, Indiana; two daughters, Carrie Annamaria (Jeremy) Kynion of Austin, Indiana and Veronica Michelle (Ricky) McCall-Reardon of Crothersville, Indiana; aunt, Julia (Jim) Howard of Kennesaw, Georgia; uncle, Jack (Janet) Runner of Weatherford,Texas; mother in law, Ann (Hugh) Leach; six grandchildren, Raevyn Kathleen, Zoe Michelle, and Willow Llewellyn Kynion, Roseanna Jade, Rylee Lorraine, and Ryker Sage McCall-Reardon. Cremation services have been entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. A memorial visitation will be held on November 18,2023 at Collins Funeral Home from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
