Claude "Alan" Gambrell

Claude Alan Gambrell, 61, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on December 26, 2025, in Scottsburg, Indiana.

He was born on November 5, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan, to Myrtle Gambrell and the late Claude Gambrell.

Alan liked spending time with his family and cherished his dog, Crystal, who was a constant companion.

He enjoyed listening to music, watching sports-especially cheering for the Louisville Cardinals and spending time fishing, one of his favorite pastimes. Alan will be remembered for his love of family and the simple joys that brought him happiness.Alan was prededed in death by his father, Claude Gambrell; grandparents, Calvin and Bertie Unthank, Georgia and Elbert Gambrell, He is survived by Lisa Gambrell who he shares two children with;Amy Jones(Zach);Andrew Gambrell(Joanna); mother, Myrtle(Honey) Gambrell; sisters, Tricia Murphy(Joe), Elise Yates(Russell); brother, Kenny Gambrell; cousin, Susie Baurley; four grandchildren, Austin, Alyssa, Kennedy, Azrael; along with many nieces and nephews.Cremation was chosen and entrusted with Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana
