Claudia A. Neace, 62, of Austin, Indiana passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on February 16, 1961 in Hazard, Kentucky, to the late Bobby Vanover and L. Marie (Lyttle) Vanover. She was a member of Broadway Church of God and was a former line leader at Seymour Housewares in Seymour, Indiana. On July 25, 1993 she married Rick L. Neace, and he survives. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Tosha Neace. She is survived by her husband, Rick L. Neace of Austin, Indiana; two sons, Gary (Megan) Bastin of Scottsburg, Indiana and Isaiah Neace of Scottsburg, Indiana; one daughter, Felicia Neace of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Tony Vanover of Scottsburg, Indiana and Tommy Vanover of Scottsburg, Indiana; three sisters Bobbie Lee Driggs of Scottsburg, Indiana, Sarah Howell of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Eulonda Howell of Scottsburg, Indiana; two grandchildren, Blake and Landin; and one step grandchild, Hailee. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Elijah Fields officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Thursday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment will be at Spurgeon Cemetery Austin, Indiana.
