Collin C.C. Abbott

Collin C.C. Abbott, 28, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on May 19, 2026, in Lexington, Indiana. He was born on October 20, 1997 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Jeffrey Abbott and Kelly Goode. Collin graduated from Scottsburg High School in 2016. He started his career as a truck driver hauling rock for Hanson Rock Quarry in Lexington, Indiana. Collin was best known for his love for operating heavy equipment and playing the guitar. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Claudette Abbott. Collin is survived by his father, Jeffrey Abbott, of Lexington, Indiana; his mother, Kelly Goode; his brother, Dakota Abbott of Lexington, Indiana; grandfather, John R. Abbott of Lexington, Indiana; and his maternal grandparents, Charlie & Ada Goode. Funeral service for Collin will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 2:00pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation will be prior to the service on Tuesday, from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, Indiana.
