Corenia B. Hardin, 86, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on January 23, 1935 in Jefferson County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Russell Cutshall and Berniece (West) Cutshall. Corenia graduated from Lexington High School and was a former employee at Con Organ in Madison, Indiana. She later served as secretary at Lexington Elementary School until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Lexington Historical Society. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Cutshall; a great grandson, Charley Meyer and a son-in-law, Jeff Fleming. Survivors include her four sons, Danny (Barbara) Hardin of Austin, Indiana, Tony (Brenda) Hardin, John Hardin and David Hardin all of Lexington, Indiana; two daughters, Debbie (Ed) Meyer of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Lynn Fleming of Fishers, Indiana; a special friend, Stephanie Hosea; nine grandchildren, Brittney (Bill) Wardlaw, Brandon (Emily Eurton) and Bryan (Tiffany) Meyer, Megan Hardin, Jonathan and Brady Fleming, Kirk, Kevin, and Zachary Hardin and five great grandchildren, Kaidyn and Keegan Wardlaw and Ella, Ethan, and Miles Meyer. Memorial Service: 6:00 pm on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home with Chuck Rose officiating. Visitation: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Interment will be at a later date at Liberty Cemetery in Hanover, Indiana.
