Daniel Gibson, 56, of Henryville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at his residence. He was born on September 8, 1965 in Seymour, Indiana, the son of the late Silas and Francis Marie (Couch) Gibson. On July 4, 2008 he married Jane (Gore) Gibson, who survives. Daniel loved his family time, listening to music, and cooking outside. He worked at Townsend as a foreman and operator for many years. Daniel was well known for being a hard worker and never shying away from a big job. They also did a lot of contract work for Clark County REMC, where he gained many life long connections. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include wife, Jane (Gore) Gibson of Henryville; son, Dalton Gore of Henryville, Indiana; daughter, Mya Gibson of Henryville, Indiana; son, Robert Gibson of Madison, Indiana; daughter, Natessa Gibson of Madison, Indiana; stepson, Patrick Otten of Madison, Indiana; seven siblings, Judy, Emma, Sharon, Boone, Arthur, Mallie, and Regina; and three grandchildren, Alyvia, Jamison, and Daylyn. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
