Daniel Lee Hoffman, 61 of Mt. Eden, Indiana passed away June 12, 2025 at home. He was born August 13, 1963 in New Albany, Indiana to Donald and Phyllis Oskin Hoffman.

Danny was a man who lived life on his own terms. A skilled handyman, he spent his career in construction, always ready to lend a hand (or a tool) to someone in need. Outside of work, he had a passion for motorcycles, which brought him a great deal of joy and freedom. He loved spending time outdoors, whether he was fishing on a tranquil lake or deer hunting with friends. Danny's faithful companion, a dog named Roscoe, was by his side through many of these adventures.

Danny is survived by his beloved sister, Karen Receveur and her husband, Joey, his nieces, Lyndsey Maggard and her husband, Scotty, and Logan Receveur and his nephews, Brian Hoffman and his wife, Amanda and Dalton Receveur.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David Hoffman.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to visit with his family prior to the service, starting at 12:00 pm.

He will be missed deeply by those who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and in the memories shared.
