Darlene Moore, 68 of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on October 1, 1955 in Scottsburg, Indiana, to the late Albert Hollan and Ethel (Finley) Hollan. Darlene was an employee of Walmart in Scottsburg, Indiana. She enjoyed going to yard sales and collecting antiques, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. In August of 1976 in Scottsburg, Indiana she married Marvin Douglas Moore, who survives. She was preceded in death by parents; two sisters, Geraldine Sebastian and Carol Cravens. Survivors include her husband, Marvin Douglas Moore of Scottsburg, Indiana; daughter, Christy Broadus of Scottsburg, Indiana; brother, Eddie (Doris) Hollan of Austin, Indiana; sister, Linda (Brian) Bradley of Scottsburg, Indiana; two grandchildren, Tiffany Stidham and Dakota Broadus; and two great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday February 1, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Graveside Services will follow at New Providence Cemetery in Austin, Indiana. Memorials may be given to Collins Funeral to help the family with funeral expenses.
