David E. Moore, 65, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at his residence. He was born on November 6, 1954 in Whiteland, Indiana, the son of the late Robert Moore and Margaret (Messer) Moore. Dave graduated from Southwestern High School in 1974. He was the owner and operator of DHA, Inc. in Lexington, Indiana for 40 years, was a member of the Moose Family Center # 2324, American Legion Post # 234 and the English Lodge # 622 F& AM. David enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Candee Dee Moore; a stepson, Jeremy Owen Miles; a sister, Nancy McDaniel and two brothers, Steve and Jimmy Moore. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Patricia L. "Patty" (Pullen) Moore; a son, Steven Moore of Lexington, Indiana; a sister, April Stidham of Paris, Indiana; three stepsons, Jason Miles of Lexington, Indiana, Joshua Spivey of Seymour, Indiana and Jonathan Tash of Underwood, Indiana; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Smith of Scottsburg, Indiana and Jessica Tash of Louisville, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Emma Smith, Kailynn Spivey, Thaxtin Tash, Rylee Grace Miles and Nathan Lucas and a great grandson, Axel Lucas. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Interment will be at a later date in Lexington Cemetery.
