David Warren Zollman, 65, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his residence. He was born on October 11, 1954 in Scott County, Indiana, the son of the late Lawrence and Reva (Hitner) Zollman. David was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Clark County Highway Dept. in Jeffersonville, Indiana, where he worked for 33 years before retiring in 2009 and a member of the Green Street Chapel in Scottsburg, Indiana. He liked buying and collecting guns, mushroom hunting, working on cars and fishing. He also liked to trade things and was known to wheel and deal with people, but especially loved playing with his grandson. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a great grandson, Brandon Sears and a sister, Mary Campbell. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Linda D. (Welter) Zollman; two sons, Tony Zollman (Elizabeth) of Underwood, Indiana and Eric Zollman of Scottsburg, Indiana; two stepsons, Daniel Miller of Underwood, Indiana and Bill Banta (Stephanie) of Scottsburg, Indiana; a stepdaughter, Lora Wasson of Scottsburg, Indiana; three brothers, Leonard Zollman of Mitchell, Indiana, Ivan Zollman of French Lick, Indiana and Larry Zollman of Crothersville, Indiana; a sister, Ellen Hall of Memphis, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Michael and Cora Zollman, Angela Sears (Jon), Whitney Clinton (Chris), William Banta (Brianna), Dale Wasson (Stephanie), Matthew Wasson and Cynthia Miller and five great-grandchildren, Annalee, Ryan, Karleelynn, Corben and Kylie.
