Deanna Kay Woods, 76, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on April 11, 1946 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Jim Bowling and Maggie (Napier) Bowling. On January 23, 1965 she married Richard Woods, who survives. Deanna was a proud member of Chelsea Church of God in Chelsea, Indiana. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, playing cards, and spending time with her family. Deanna was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Teresa Woods; grandson, Derek Cole; son-in-law, Jeremy Ross; and siblings, Daisy Gay, Doris Richey, David Bowling, and Ray Bowling. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Richard Woods of Scottsburg, Indiana; three daughters, Lisa (Greg) Cole of Scottsburg, Indiana, Natalie (Mike) Sumner of Seymour, Indiana, and Mary Woods of Scottsburg, Indiana; sister, Daphne Bowling of Scottsburg, Indiana; brother, Denver (Thelma) Bowling of Scottsburg, Indiana; grandchildren, Justin (April), Jacob (Jess), Makayla, Brittney, and Matthew; and great grandchildren, Wyatt, Samuel, and Emmett.
