Del W. Barks, Jr., 66 of Austin, Indiana passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on December 16, 1956 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Del Barks Sr. and Marlene (DeWeese) Barks. He was a member of the American Legion Post 234, and Moose Lodge 2324 both of Scottsburg, Indiana. On August 30, 1991 he married Lark (Kraisinger) Barks, in Louisville, Kentucky and she survives. Del loved fishing and traveling to Florida to deep sea fish with his wife. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Lark (Kraisinger) Barks of Austin, Indiana; two nieces, Meghan Harper (Mike) of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and Molly Kraisinger of San Diego, California; one brother in law, Stuart Kraisinger (Debbie) of Aurora, Indiana; and a great niece and nephew, Remy and Rohan Harper.
