Dennis James Osborne

Dennis James Osborne, 72, of Austin, Indiana a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on April 27, 2026, at Norton Scott Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on January 22, 1954, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Arthur Osborne and the late Inez (Southwell) Osborne. On September 18, 1982 Dennis married the love of his life, Susan Munn, and she survives. A proud veteran of the United States Navy. He dedicated himself to serving others, always with a smile and a kind word. Dennis had a special fondness for Christmas, which brought him immense joy, as well as a passion for collecting Coca-Cola Company products. In addition to his mother, Inez, Dennis was preceded in death by one sister in law, Mary Osborne. Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Susan Osborne; father, Denny Osborne; two daughters, Lisa (Daniel) Kohler, Theresa (Brian) Hoggarth; one son, William Osborne; two sisters, Kathy (Ron) Hurd and Brenda Zuiderveen; and one brother, Richard (Glenda) Osborne; and five grandchildren, Lilyana Osborne, Emma Bunny, Dallas Kohler, Alexander Kohler, and Jensen Osborne. Cremation was entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with burial to follow at New Albany National Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
